Summer Weaving Sessions: Beach Wall Hanging - Aug. 9, Ottawa

1:00pm - 4:00pm. 

A beginner friendly workshop where you will learn to warp, weave and finish a beach themed wall hanging. You will leave with a ready to hang piece of art and all the skills you need to continue weaving at home.

In this workshop you will practise: warping your loom, plain weave and variations of plain weave, rya knots and variations of rya knots, how to finish the back of a tapestry, how to hang a tapestry.

This event takes place at my home in Blackburn Hamlet. The exact address will be shared on week prior to the event.
