Intro To Weaving - Oct 19, Orleans

The season is changing and you are going to love the rustic, autumnal color palette of yarns we will be using in our fall workshops!  Spend an afternoon engaging in a new creative practice where you will learn to  warp, weave and finish a woven wall hanging. You will leave with a ready to hang piece of art and all the skills you need to continue weaving at home.

This workshop is a collaboration between landscape weaver Tara Morris and small batch yarn dyer Melanie Brisson of Ravelution Yarn. Fuelled by a passion for fibre, a shared desire for community, and a yearning to pass on the skills to create beautiful art, this light hearted and creative partnership seeks to engage, inspire, and bring together anyone with an appreciation for the fibre arts.
